City of Praia, 10 Mar (Inforpress) – The leader of the PAICV parliamentary group, Clóvis Silva, said today that the party will interpellate the Government on the public investment and infrastructure policy of the last ten years, alleging low implementation rates and unfulfilled promises.
During a press conference held within the framework of the parliamentary preparation sessions for the next plenary sitting of the National Assembly, which begins this Wednesday, Clóvis Silva explained that the interpellation aims to scrutinize how public resources have been applied over the last decade.
According to the MP, the initiative also arises in a context in which, according to PAICV, there has been less space for parliamentary debate.
“The Government and the MpD parliamentary group have waived instruments such as debates with ministers and questions to the Government, which would reduce the plenary session practically to the discussion of legislation and the period for general questions,” alleged the PAICV MP.
