Praia, Mar 24 (Inforpress) - The director of the National Advertising Award, Maria Martins, today revealed the organisation's desire to transform the award into a regional prize of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Maria Martins made these statements to the press on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of Creative Week, held today at the Ildo Lobo Palacio da Cultura, as part of the seventh edition of the National Advertising Prize (PNP) and chaired by the Vice Prime Minister, Olavo Correia.
According to this official, after seven years, the National Advertising Award can be considered a winning bet for the market, the professionals and the different players in the advertising market value chain in Cabo Verde.
‘The National Advertising Award is a showcase for more than two hundred professionals in the sector (...). There has been evolution, yes, because when we were born in 2002, we had no more than twenty companies and today we have more than 200 professionals in the sector,’ he said.
