Praia, 5 August (Inforpress) – The new chairman of the board of directors of Estradas de Cabo Verde (ECV) stated today that his mission during this term of office will be to create the conditions that will lead the organisation to achieve the highest ranking among national public enterprises.
Jair Rodrigues was speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the new boards of directors of Estradas de Cabo Verde (ECV) and Infraestruturas de Cabo Verde (ICV), an event presided over by the Prime Minister.
On that occasion, Jair Rodrigues expressed his appreciation to the outgoing teams at the Cabo Verde Institute of Roads and Highways, a public enterprise, for the legacy they had left behind in the form of 1,249 kilometres of national roads.
“We took over a public company with a low rating – Class C – based on criteria such as business volume, number of employees, assets, technological development, and levels of competitiveness and competition,” he said.
