Praia, Oct 1 (Inforpress) – The National Energy Sustainability Program (PNSE) comes into force from January 1, 2020, revealed, in Praia, the national director of Industry, Commerce and Energy, Rito Evora.
The official made this revelation this Monday, at the opening of the magna class for the socialization of the National System of Labeling and Requirements of Electrical Equipment, under the Energy Efficiency Project in Equipment and Buildings (PEEE). “It’s another PNSE puzzle we’re running and we’re now at the moment of designing the new directives,” he said.
Rito Évora clarified that the program’s main objective is to provide consumers with the opportunity to make the best choices in terms of energy efficiency and to contribute to the strategic goals of the PNSE.
He added that within this energy efficiency package there is still regulatory work to be approved in October, as well as the energy issue at the building level. This “socialization” program will be through a training that runs from September 30 to 8 October in the Cabo Verdean capital, aimed at all players in the sector.
