Mosteiros: City Council announces first artists for the Municipality Day celebrations

São Filipe, July 27 (Inforpress) –City Council of  Mosteiros council has announced the artists who will perform at the Municipality Day festivities, from August 11 to 16, and confirmed Alyrio, Márcia Cruz, Dyh Martins, Du Marthaz, Nhelas and Josslyn.

Further names will be announced later this week, as the programme for the festivities marking Municipal Day and the feast of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, the municipality’s patron saint, which take place from 11 to 16 August, “is practically finalised”, according to a source at Mosteiros City Council.

According to the Councillor for Sport and Culture, Nelson Pires, the program includes inaugurations, the Praia Lantcha Festival, popular dances, and a range of sporting and recreational activities, including athletics, cycling, equestrian, swimming, fishing, and boat races.

The festivities also include parlor games, namely cards, uril, checkers and chess, as well as the Miss and Mister Mosteiros 2026 beauty contest.
