Members of the Blue Economy Steering Committee meet Tuesday, 10th, in Praia

Praia, Sep 9 (Inforpress) – The members of the Blue Economy Steering Committee will be meeting Tuesday, 10th, in the City of Praia, to analyze the state of work carried out in the framework of Cabo Verde’s transition process for the Blue Economy.

During the 3rd meeting of the Blue Economy Project Steering Committee will evaluated the Technical Assistance Program for the Promotion of the Blue Economy, the National Investment Plan for the Blue Economy (PNIEB), the Blue Economy (PROMEB) and will also present the proposal for revision of the Charter for the Promotion of the Blue Economy.

The Blue Economy Steering Committee is a technical body that analyzes and discusses issues related to the Cabo Verde Transition Process to the Blue Economy. Its mission is to advise and discuss on the implementation of the program.

The committee is composed of the Ministries of Maritime Economy, Finance, Tourism and Transport, Foreign Affairs and Communities, PROEMPRESA, National Directorate of Industry and Energy, National Directorate of Environment, National Institute for Fisheries Development, National Institute of Statistics, National Institute of Land Planning and University of Cabo Verde.
