MAA handed over water supply works to Fazenda da Esperança in an investment of more than four million escudos

Praia, Feb 18 (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAA) handed over this Monday to Fazenda da Esperança, in Praia, the infrastructures for water supply in an investment that exceeds four million escudos, but the connection is now missing.

Speaking to journalists, on the sidelines of the delivery, the chairman of the board of directors (PCA) of the National Water and Sanitation Agency, Miguel Ângelo, justified that the delay in completing the works was due to the mobilization of resources.

“The State took resources from other projects to collaborate in this project, which we consider to be of great importance and we congratulate Fazenda da Esperança for the work it has been doing”, he said.

As he showed, the State made a certain amount of piping available to that institution, electrical installations were made, as well as underground works and works that are “in plain sight”. In this sense, that person showed the delivery term with all the goods and assets will be delivered to Fazenda and assured that they will send a letter to Águas de Santiago (AdS) through which the company will be obliged to assign, by contract, 25 thousand liters of water per day for personal use and agricultural activities.
