Lito Silva exhibits ‘Identity’ in Praia, celebrating Cape Verdean culture and identity

Praia, Jan 21 (Inforpress) – Visual artist Lito Silva is exhibiting until January 30, at the Tutu Sousa Art Gallery in Praia, a painting exhibition entitled “Identity”, which celebrates Cape Verdean culture and identity, Inforpress learned today.

Speaking to Inforpress, the artist said the exhibition brings together 14 interconnected works, each telling a story, with the main objective of sharing the cultural and traditional identity of the Cape Verdean people.

“The message is to share our cultural and traditional identity, who we are as a people. It is an exhibition with 14 pieces, all interconnected, and each tells a story,” Lito Silva explained.

The artist also highlighted that the exhibition, inaugurated on Saturday, January 17, reflects the spiritual dimension of identity as well.
