Praia, Oct 28 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean humanist and ambassador Janice da Silva received this week’s fourth international award, this time being certified by the international organization “ International Peace Institute” based in England and Pakistan.
Speaking to Inforpress, the winner of the International Peace Institute certificate, on account of the work she has done in international organizations, especially the United Nations, said that during this term she will be implementing education activities for the peace and urban citizenship in Cabo Verde and ECOWAS.
At the moment to receive the certificate, Janice da Silva in her communication, reminded those present that peace cannot be achieved if we do not work on the development and observance of human rights for all and with the “inclusion of women, children and youth, people with special needs in cities where there are greater opportunities for economic development. ”
“The inclusion of all is the way to achieve peace, in addition to the work that must naturally be done in cooperation for local development, because peace must happen in the daily life of neighborhoods and cities,” she said.
Janice da Silva has already been distinguished as a Global Goodwill Ambassador of the American Organization Five Points Youth Foundation and BEMA International for the SDGs, she has also received certificates from the National Federation of Human and Humanitarian Rights as ECOWAS Ambassador for Humanitarian Work and the Global Socio-Economic and Financial Evolution Network from Nigeria to Africa.
