IPC launches notice for presentation of originals and publication of books on the theme “morna”

Praia, May 7 (Inforpress) – The Institute of Cultural Heritage (IPC), within the scope of the Agenda Morna 2019 implementation, launches an announcement for the presentation of originals, aiming at the publication of technical-scientific and cultural books focusing on the theme “morna”.

According to the notice 1/2019, which has been accessed by Inforpress, each author can only register one work, individually, in co-authorship or as organized, by June 30.

The originals will be sent to ad-hoc consultants, who will issue conclusive opinions on the pertinence of the publication of the original, based on the criteria of relevance, comprehensiveness and adequacy of the theme and content to the area of ​​knowledge, technical/scientific or cultural relevance, innovative character of the work, theoretical rigor and overall evaluation of the quality of the work.

The author of the published work, according to the notice, should abdicate, in favor of the IPC, of the copyrights on the first edition and will receive, on the other hand, the donation of 10% of the copies of the print run, which are between 500 and 1000 copies.
