Praia, May 17 (Inforpress) – The Internet has brought “immeasurable gains” and the democratization of information in the country, said Milton Cabral, a NOSi technician today, defending the bet on training technicians so that Cabo Verde can keep pace with processing.
Milton Cabral, technician of the Software Development Department of NOSi (Information Society Operational Unit), was speaking to Inforpress on the occasion of World Telecommunication Day and Internet Day celebrated today (May 17).
For the NOSi technician, the Internet phenomenon brought a new approach to the archipelago, stressing, however, that the greatest challenge of the new Information and Communication Technologies “is to have the capacity and the breath to keep pace with the digital transformation”.
In order for Cabo Verde to be able to keep up with this pace, he said, a combination of actions has to be taken, including training of technicians, creation of technology services infrastructures, among others, to achieve the expected results.
