Praia, Jun 14 (Inforpress) – The Institute of Employment and Training (IEFP) reported Thursday that it has managed, through its decentralized structures, namely the Employment and Vocational Training Centers to integrate 1.185 young people in the Professional and Business Internship Program (PEPE).
According to the institution, PEPE facilitates the recruitment and integration of new staff in the labour market, considering active employment policies as a central element of the labour market as an instrument for job creation and combating unemployment.
The impact study, according to the same source, indicates that the overall labour market insertion rate is 63.9%, elucidating that on average 63.9% of the beneficiaries of the employment programs succeed insertion in the labour market.
The program of active employment policies was defined and approved by the current Government, which during 2019 established the goal to qualify about 5.000 young people, implementing training in different professional areas.
