Rabat, Dec 2 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean Press Agency (Inforpress) and Guinea-Bissau counterpart (ANG) signed a cooperation agreement to exchange information content between the two agencies on Saturday.
The agreement was initialed by Executive Manager Jacqueline de Carvalho representing Inforpress, and ANG Director General Salvador Gomes, on the sidelines of the 5th General Assembly of the “Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA), which took place on Friday and Saturday in Rabat.
On the occasion, Jacqueline de Carvalho considered this partnership very important for both press agencies, emphasizing that it will allow the consolidation of professional ties.
Through this cooperation, she added, Inforpress and ANG will strengthen historical relationships, with both agencies committed to receiving and using informational and multimedia content.
“Guinea-Bissau is a brother country with whom we want to establish cooperative relations, and it is in this context that we signed this agreement between the two agencies, precisely to enable the exchange of content, experiences and the aspect of training aimed at promoting and increasingly strengthen the ties of cooperation, in terms of covering everything that concerns both countries,” she said. The agreement has a duration of one year and can be renewed automatically if the parties so wish.
