During the act, the Inspector General of Fisheries, Maysa Rochetau, stated that this agreement will frame and enshrine a collaboration process which began to take shape when the Inspectorate-General for Fisheries and IEFP decided to join efforts to build the future capacities in the field of fisheries, but precisely in the surveillance and inspection of fishing activities.

“It was in the wake of the good results obtained with the training in São Vicente and the relations of mutual trust developed between the IGP and the IEFP that it was proposed to establish this agreement between these two institutions”, he said.
