Handball: School Sport Olympics team goes to Partille Cup 2025 in Sweden

Praia, Jun 30 (Inforpress) - The Olympics School Sport men's handball team travelled today to Gothenburg, Sweden, where they will represent Cabo Verde in the 2025 Partille Cup, billed as the biggest international youth handball competition in the world.

According to information provided by the Institute of Sport and Youth (IDJ), the Cape Verdean delegation is made up of 18 people, including 14 youth athletes, accompanied by two coaches, a physiotherapist and a chef de mission, ‘all united by a single objective: to do their best and show the strength of Cape Verdean school sport’.

This participation, according to the same source, is a ‘clear demonstration’ of the ‘ongoing commitment’ to national school sport and to building opportunities through sport.
