Grito Rock Praia Festival marks 10 years with special edition on March 28

Praia, Jan 19 (Inforpress) – The city of Praia will host, on March 28, the 10th edition of the International Grito Rock Praia Festival, one of the most important alternative music events in Cabo Verde, the organization announced today.

Organised by producer Artikul CJ, the festival celebrates a decade of promoting independent creation, cultural diversity and artistic exchange.

Part of an international network present in several countries, Grito Rock is more than a festival; it is a collaborative cultural movement that encourages independent music and brings artists closer to local communities, according to the producer.

According to a statement sent to Inforpress, over the previous nine editions the event has consolidated itself as a platform for bands and musicians with limited opportunities in conventional circuits, promoting experimentation and visibility for alternative artistic proposals.
