
Mindelo, 5 August (Inforpress) – Six officials posted to diplomatic and consular missions have been transferred to head office, following six orders issued by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Communities, Manuel Amante da Rosa, published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday 4 August.
According to the orders, obtained by Inforpress today, the transfers fall within the framework of the external mobility of the Ministry's diplomatic and technical staff and involve personnel previously assigned to Cabo Verde's embassies in Brasília (Brazil), Geneva (Switzerland), Lisbon (Portugal), Paris (France), and São Tomé and Príncipe, as well as the Consulate General of Cabo Verde in Boston, United States.
Order No. 63/2026 states that Level III Minister Plenipotentiary Maria Goretti Santos Lima has been transferred from the Cabo Verde Embassy in Brasília to headquarters, and is required to report for duty by 31 December.
Pursuant to Order No. 64/2026, Junior Technician GEF 4, Level VI, Aleida Soraia Garcia Soares, is leaving the Consulate-General of Cabo Verde in Boston to take up her post at head office, where she is required to report for duty by 30 October.
