Praia, May 8 (Inforpress) The Ministry of Family and Social Inclusion is promoting the 2nd National Symposium on the Family and Social Inclusion on Wednesday, 8th, in the City of Praia, to analyze the new management instruments and social policies implemented in the country.
During a press conference held on Tuesday, the director of Social Inclusion, Mónica Furtado, explained that the event counts on the participation of social councilors, registry local coordinators, technicians who work with the family program follow-up and managers of social programs to look at the new management tools and see how it has modified the social work implemented at the level of central and municipal services.
Given that the symposium is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), the idea is to have a common agenda between the country’s commitments at global level, to see how these measures are being implemented at the program level and see how they are reaching the populations.
Under the them “Do not leave anyone behind”, she stressed that the event is also an opportunity to present the results of the projects both in terms of the instruments already in use and also the new social plans that are being implemented as the Inclusion Social Income Program that has already been implemented in pilot mechanisms, but this year will be applied nationally, after its approval.
