Francisco Carvalho says the future government will unite experience and new generations

Praia, June 4 (Inforpress) – Prime Minister-designate Francisco Carvalho stated this Tuesday that the future government has already been defined and will be composed of a team chosen based on competence, experience, and balance, aiming to realize the project of a “Cabo Verde for all”.

Francisco Carvalho, president of the PAICV party, made these statements to the press after a meeting with the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, as part of the process to appoint the new prime minister, following the legislative elections of May 17th.

In his address to Cape Verdeans residing in the country and in the diaspora, Francisco Carvalho considered that his appointment represents the beginning of a new phase of work aimed at fulfilling the commitments made to voters.

“The message I would like to leave for all Cape Verdeans who are in Cabo Verde and in the diaspora is that I have now been appointed to build the Government of the Republic of Cabo Verde. Now, yes, I am working to present a Government that implements what we are advocating for, which is a Cape Verde for all,” he declared.
