Football / Santiago Sul: ARFSS president makes a “positive” assessment and says he comes to an end with a sense of accomplishment

Praia, Apr 2 (Inforpress) – The South Santiago Association Regional Football Association (ARFSS) president, Mário Avelino “Donnay”, made a “positive” balance of the 2018/2019 sports season, arguing that it is not easy to make the “longest and most competitive”  championship in Cabo Verde.

“It is a championship that starts in October and ends after all sports regions, and people do not know the difficulties that the association passes to reach the end with the sense of accomplishment”, noted Mario Avelino in remarks to the press at the end of the game between Desportivo and Celtic, which ended the championship.

The associate director pointed to “lack of support and many criticisms” as the main problems that management has gone through season, stating that the bet was always on “work to get to a good end”.

However, he reported that there are activities to comply with, like the women regional championships, the U-20 and veterans.
