Football: RS Berkane of Morocco announce Bubista as their new manager for the next two seasons

Praia, 4 August (Inforpress) – RS Berkane, of Morocco’s top flight, announced today the appointment of Cape Verdean football manager Pedro Brito, better known as “Bubista”, as the club’s new head coach for the next two seasons. 

“Nahda Berkane have officially signed coach Pedro Brito (Bubista) to lead the first-team coaching staff on a two-season contract, following the success of his previous spell with his country’s national team,” the club writes on its official website.

According to a statement from the Maghreb club, one of Morocco’s long-established football clubs, the appointment forms part of the club’s ongoing sporting project, aimed at strengthening its competitive ambitions both at national level and on the continental stage.

The RS Berkane board emphasised that the choice was based on the coach’s technical expertise and extensive experience in African football, whilst also looking to promote and develop young talent within the squad.
