Football/CV Championship: Santo Antão Norte finalises the last details ahead of hosting the Mindelense v Palmeira final

Ribeira Grande, 30 June (Inforpress) – The president of the Santo Antão Norte Regional Football Association confirmed today that all the necessary arrangements are in place for the final of the national football championship between Mindelense and Palmeira on Saturday, 4 July.

The match will be played at the João Serra Stadium in Ponta do Sol.

Speaking to the press, Hermes Pinto stated that the “organisational machine” had entered the final stretch and that only a few minor adjustments remained before kick-off in the match that will decide the national champion.

According to the official, the João Serra Stadium is expected to be fully ready on Thursday, 2 July, as confirmed by City Council of Ribeira Grande, coinciding with the arrival of the two finalist teams and the refereeing team.
