Fogo: Institute of Tourism publishes decree-law on complementary accommodation and new platform

São Filipe, May 19 (Inforpress) - Today, a mission from the Cabo Verde Tourism Institute (ITCV) began a visit to the island to socialise decree-law 56/2024, of 13 November, which regulates complementary accommodation in the country.

Vânia Rodrigues, who is the executive administrator of the Southern Region of the ITCV, is leading the mission, which runs until Friday 23rd.

The visit began with an audience with the mayor of São Filipe, Nuías Silva, but includes various activities with local tour operators and institutions.

Later today, the ITCV mission will visit tourist establishments in São Filipe and is scheduled to travel to Chã das Caldeiras for a meeting with operators in this, the most visited town on the island, as well as to visit the winery.
