First superintendent woman of the Northern District of the Church of the Nazarene promises to privilege social causes

Praia,  Nov 6 (Inforpress) – The first superintendent woman of the Northern District of the Church of the Nazarene, the Reverend Leniza Monteiro Soares, promised in Praia to privilege social causes in the first year of the creation of this jurisdiction.

Speaking to the press, after holding a meeting with Minister of State Fernando Elísio Freire, the new head of the Northern District Church of the Nazarene, said they are prospecting to see the context and thus making a social intervention “more direct”.

“We are carrying out the deployment of the Cabo Verde district during the 118 years of existence of the Church of the Nazarene in the country,” said the reverend, informing that they are in working sessions to implement this new model.

In addition to this meeting the Minister of State added that meetings are scheduled with other entities of the country for the official presentation of the two superintendents, with David Araújo for the Southern District.
