Festivities/São Filipe: Ministry of Culture signs contracts with 11 schools for the Access to Culture Scholarship

São Filipe, Apr 30 (Inforpress) - The Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Augusto Veiga, today presided over the signing ceremony of financial support contracts with 11 schools selected under the Cultural Access Scholarship programme.

The beneficiary schools, of cultural initiative, belong to the municipalities of São Filipe (three), Santa Catarina do Fogo (three), Mosteiros (four) and Brava (one), benefiting 413 scholarship students on both islands, of whom 175 are female and 238 male.

The Cultural Access Scholarship programme was established by Order 09/2017 of 15 March and is implemented by the government through the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries.
