Fashion: Young Senegalese will open African fabrics clothing store in Portugal with European market in sight

Assomada, Jun 4 (Inforpress) – The young Senegalese Malick Fall, considered one of the most sought-after tailors in Santa Catarina, will open in mid-June his first store of African fabrics in Portugal, with eyes on the European market.

Speaking to Inforpress, Malick Fall stressed that in this first phase he will open his first store in Amadora (Portugal), employing one person, indicating that France will be the next European market he wants to conquer with his products.

He said he will keep the same quality that Santa Catarina’s customers has been used to.

The young entrepreneur, who came to Cabo Verde at the invitation of a tailor’s uncle in 2007 and who opened his own tailor’s shop in 2009, currently has a mini-market and a restaurant with typical dishes from Senegal, “Malick Naru”. The name Naru is a tribute to his mother.

Malick, who has a Cabo Verdean nationality and who has already conquered the Santa Catarina’s market, said that he believes that, taking his products to Portugal, dressed for all occasions, trousers, shirts, skirts, shorts, among other products customized for children, men and women, the paths will open up to other European countries.
