Entrepreneurs talk about their failures as a way of encouraging entrepreneurs

Praia, Nov 22 (Inforpress) – A group of 50 young entrepreneurs will share with other entrepreneurs their stories of business failure during the 3rd Failed Night Edition, hosted by the organization of the 10th Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Speaking to Inforpress, Secretary-General of the Young Business Association of Cabo Verde (AJEC), Elisabeth Afonso, explained that the event aims to make entrepreneurs who have had stories of failure during their professional lives to share their experiences with their outlined projects that failed.

The idea, she stressed, is to encourage young people to be alert in setting up the business, so as not to fall into failure, just as with other entrepreneurs. Elisabeth Afonso also stated that there is a forecast for 50 young people in this event, which will also include speakers Victor Constantino and Faron Peckham.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), which will take place on every island and council in the country, features over 250 activities, involving more than 20.000 participants, aimed at inclusive entrepreneurship.
