Mindelo, Mar 31 (Inforpress) - The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enapor said today that the salary, social security and union dues of the 200 or so Atunlo workers have already been settled.
This information was given to the press by Ireneu Camacho after a meeting with the workers.
The same source explained that Enapor is currently negotiating with three private operators for the management of Atunlo's cold storage platform, with a view to reopening the plant at the beginning of May.
‘We will continue to keep the salaries of these employees up to date, in other words, Enapor intends from now on to take over the salaries of all these employees for the future, until the entry of a new private operator who will clearly absorb these employees and continue with this great cold platform in São Vicente,’ he explained.
