Emicela Team Cabo Verde to compete in Foz Côa Douro Trail Adventure 2026 with seven athletes

Praia, Feb 16 (Inforpress) – Emicela Team Cabo Verde will compete from the 20th to the 22nd of this month in the Foz Côa Douro Trail Adventure 2026, in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Portugal, with seven athletes, reinforcing the country’s presence on the international trail running circuit.

The Cape Verdean delegation includes seven athletes: four from Fogo, one from São Vicente, one from São Nicolau and one from Santiago.

According to team officials, the squad comprises Cavickson Fortes, Bruce dos Santos, Samuel Teixeira, Manuel Miranda, Daty Miranda, Djulay Pina and Milly Brito.

Organised by Carlos Sá Nature Events, the competition is part of the national circuit of the Portuguese Trail Running Association and brings together athletes from several countries, promoting outdoor sports in the Douro region.
