Praia, Nov 5 (Inforpress) – Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Olavo Correia said Cabo Verde needs an entrepreneur people and the country “will not move forward on the basis of narratives or conversations”.
Olavo Correia was addressing this Monday at the official opening ceremony of the National Microfinance Week, which he presided over at the Amílcar Cabral Memorial Square, Praia.
“We need an entrepreneur people. Cabo Verde will not move forward on the basis of narratives or conversations,” said the Minister, adding that it takes work, the ability to undertake, to take risks, to innovate, to produce, to export and to create job.
Olavo Correia also added that being a micro, small, medium or large businessman does not place less or more responsibilities. “We have equal responsibilities,” said the Deputy Prime Minister, for whom “it is as worthy to be a micro-entrepreneur as to be a great businessman.”
