Praia, Mar 28 (Inforpress) – The daughter of composer and pianist Tututa Évora, Lourdes Pereira, launched the book “Tututa Composições”, a way to honor the mother and to give people an instrument to learn to play and sing.
The book, launched at the Portuguese Cultural Center in the City of Praia, had the stamp of the SOCA Publishing House and, according to the author, the idea was to make a music book, but this one turned out to be a book.
“Tututa Composições”, said brings compositions arranged in lyrics and cipher, voice and ciphers and piano and voice, complete scores for interpretation on any instrument. In addition to the scores, the book contains pictures and looks of some people and musicians who lived with the pianist.
The collection of the materials, she said, was a simple process, as they had several materials, but the most difficult was to select which images and the looks that should be part of the book.
