Cybersecurity is a strategic requirement for Cabo Verde to consolidate itself as a digital hub - CEO of VisionWare

Praia, 9 June (Inforpress) – Bruno Castro, founder and CEO of VisionWare, emphasised today in Praia that cybersecurity must be viewed as a strategic requirement for digital development and for establishing Cabo Verde as an international technology hub.

This position was defended to the media on the sidelines of the conference dedicated to the theme "Cybersecurity today: Challenges, regulation and resilience", held at TechPark Cabo Verde.

On that occasion, the official emphasised that technological innovation and digital security are inseparable aspects in an era characterised by the growing adoption of artificial intelligence.

"There is no innovation without security," stated Bruno Castro, arguing that security should not hinder development, but also cannot be neglected in the name of technological progress.
