CPLP promotes Youth Conference on the Future of Work

Praia, Jun 24 (Inforpress) – The CPLP promotes a “Youth Conference on the Future of Work”, which aims to provide an exchange of experience of tripartite dialogue among young people from the Portuguese speaking world, on June 24 in Lisbon.

According to the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), the Secretary of State for Youth of Cabo Verde, Carlos Monteiro, participates in the opening session of the event on behalf of the Pro Tempore Presidency of the CPLP.

This activity, according to the same source, is part of the World Conference of Ministers responsible for Youth and Youth Forum “Lisbon + 21”, which will take place from June  21 to 23 in Lisbon in the “Year of the CPLP for Youth”, which aims to strengthen the relevance of this issue to the Community.

The program, according to the organization, includes the presentation of the “Report of the World Commission on the Future of Work” by an ILO expert in Geneva, Felix Weidenkaff, and the organization of think groups.
