Praia, Mar 23 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde Airlines (CVA) will carry out, as of Monday, 23th, repatriation flights of Cabo Verdeans in Portugal, who should be quarantined in Sal Island.
One of the passengers contacted by the CVA on Sunday afternoon told Inforpress that he had received indications that Monday’s flight will take place at noon, departing from Lisbon airport to the island.
All passengers will be disembarked in Sal Island, where they must remain in quarantine for a period of two weeks, in one of the hotels reserved by the Government for the purpose, according to the same source.
Apparently this Monday’s flight is reserved for passengers who had already purchased tickets.
The CVA had announced on March 17 the suspension of all activities for a period of 30 days as a result of complying with Government measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Cabo Verde.
However, it was still open to carry out health flights, emergency and repatriation of citizens that will happen from this Monday.
