Covid-19: Return process of Cabo Verdeans expected to start this Tuesday – Government

Praia, Mar 23 (Inforpress) – The Return process of Cabo Verdeans stranded in Portugal, Brazil and the United States of America should take place next Tuesday, 24, informed the Government of Cabo Verde.

The return, according to the same source, will happen with “charter flights, at the expense of the State of Cabo Verde and on shared flights”.
Regarding Cabo Verdeans stranded in other countries, the Government informed that there is a follow-up that is being done through the embassies in those countries.

In the same statement, it is also stated that, on Tuesday, March 24, two TAP flights are scheduled to transport Portuguese passengers stranded in Sal and Praia and a chartered flight to the island of São Vicente, March 23, which should make the flow of Brazilians to Brazil, with a stopover in Sal.

“In addition to the Portuguese and Brazilians, the overwhelming majority of other foreign tourists stranded in hotels in Cabo Verdean territory, return to their countries of origin, until March 25,” he added.
