Cinema: President of the association notes increased interest in the dramaturgy area in the country

Praia, Sep 4 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verde Cinema and Audiovisual Association (ACA-CV), Mário Benvindo Cabral, noted in Praia that there has been growing interest in the dramaturgy area in the country.

The information was transmitted Tuesday to the press, moments before the delivery of certificates to 18 graduates of the film and television interpretation course, promoted by ACA-CV, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries and the Ildo Lobo Palace of Culture.

“Actually, to be an actor it takes training and I am surprised because we managed to have 18 people for a week, which has not been so in the trainings we have been delivered,” said Mário Cabral, informing that this training was attended by people, professionals and amateurs alike.

Therefore, he said that after this training, similar actions are intended to be carried out on the other islands, primarily in São Vicente, where, as he announced, he is working to create a representation on that island. “The aim is to decentralize the activities that have focused on in Praia,” explained Mário Cabral.
