Cabo Verde and the Netherlands strengthen judicial cooperation in combating crime

City of Praia, Feb 11 (Inforpress) – The Office of the Attorney-General and the Dutch authorities are strengthening judicial cooperation, focusing on specialised training, the exchange of institutional experience and the consolidation of modern, effective and integrated practices in combating complex crime.

The information was released by the Attorney-General, Luís José Landim, on his official Facebook page, after participating, from 02 to 07 February, in an international technical visit to Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

The visit was part of efforts to enhance international cooperation and share best practices in the field of complex investigations.

At the invitation of the Dutch authorities, the trip formed part of a 2026 work programme dedicated to Cabo Verde, with the main objective of reviewing ongoing investigations and promoting technical and institutional exchanges among justice and criminal investigation professionals.
