Nova Sintra, Aug 8 (Inforpress) – The bathing sea areas identified this year in Brava will be endowed with better conditions, allowing better and greater security for those who seek them.
The information was presented to the press by the mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, during a visit by the director of Environmental Sanitation, at the National Directorate of Environment (DNA), Floresvindo Furtado, to the island.
According to him, all beaches have to be identified by ordinance and, for this end they have to audit all City Halls in order to inform which beaches they consider bathing.
It is a process between the DNA and the Port Maritime Institute, and from the moment the beaches are identified and the process go to the public consultation that is made between October and November and legally, the ordinance must be published by December 31. At this moment, two bathing areas were identified, Cadjetinha and the natural pools, which, in principle, as he said, will be included in the proposal for public consultation.
