Nova Sintra, Jan 15 (Inforpress) – The Mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, has asked young people to be aware of new educational offerings to come in the near future.
The mayor made this appeal in an interview with Inforpress, after the opening of the training in Practices and Techniques of Customer Service for Customers and Users, with 25 trainees.
Referring to the other two training courses already underway and coordinated by the Center for Employment and Vocational Training of the Fogo e Brava Region (CEFP), Francisco Tavares said that these trainings will respond to the demand and needs of the island.
The Mayor explained the training is also part of the policy for creating opportunities for young people from Brava to access training courses provided by the training and employment centers on other islands. He also emphasized that both the training started today, such as the Kitchen and Pastry course and the level I Cooking course in Brava, are being taught under “special free conditions” for the students, underlining that there is a fund to cover expenses, including transport, for young people from other locations.
For this reason, the Mayor took the opportunity to appeal to the young people from Brava to be “more attentive” to other upcoming trainings, saying that from time to time notices are published on the City Hall pages, in the delegation school and placed in the notice place for The island.
