Nova Sintra, Mar 4 (Inforpress) – The Mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, said today that the island may have experimental signals from Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) in March.
This information was forwarded to Inforpress, in a balance sheet of the visit made by the Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Abraão Vicente, who was on the island accompanied by the president of the Institute of Cultural Heritage, Hamilton Jair Fernandes, the director of Intangible Heritage, Sandra Mascarenhas, the CEO and the executive director of Cabo Verde Broadcast, Luís Ramos and Carlos Silva, respectively.
The mayor made a “very positive assessment” of the visit of the government official, adding that he only received “good news” and the meetings and visits made to the projects in progress, the team’s assessment was “very satisfied”. According to the same source, they started the day with a working visit to the City Hall, where more details about the museum project of the Casa Museu Eugénio Tavares, in Nova Sintra, were presented.
He also added that the future prospects for the space, which is currently under construction, is to “really transform it” into a Museum House, replicating the furniture of Eugénio Tavares’ time and creating an interpretive and research center in memory of the morna’s patron.
