Brava: Exchange program provides new experiences for children from the SOS Children's Villages of São Domingos and Assomada.

Nova Sintra, August 7 (Inforpress) – Dozens of children from the SOS Children's Villages of São Domingos and Assomada have been participating in an exchange program in Brava since Saturday, an initiative that promotes integration, new experiences and skills development, recognizing the commitment shown throughout the year.

Speaking to Inforpress, Paula Sanches, director of the SOS Children’s Village in São Domingos, explained that the initiative ends next Saturday and highlighted the positive impact of the experience, particularly for the children.

“This visit is going very well, especially for our children, who are enjoying an experience that’s a change from their day-to-day routine. From the comments they’ve been making throughout the tour, we can tell they’re really enjoying themselves and are always delighted to arrive at the different destinations. I’m also very pleased with the way they’re interacting with one another,” she said.

According to the organiser, the activity is part of SOS Children’s Villages’ annual programme and aims to promote integration, social interaction and the development of new skills amongst the children, through exposure to different aspects of life across the country.
