Sal Rei, Aug 5 (Inforpress) – Landowners in southern airport area in Rabil say they are “dissatisfied and see no solution” to solve the problem of purchased lots where they are unable to get build permits due to proximity of the parcel with the airport.
The group of landowners in southern airport area in Boa Vista Island made this complaint, following a meeting between the City Hall and the Civil Aviation Agency, which aimed to clarify the owners about not giving favorable opinions to build on that zone.
During the meeting, Civil Aviation Agency (AAC) inspector Hermes Duarte was showing images from the agency that illustrated the zone of influence of the airport easements areas.
“The problem with Rabil is that the airport is on a higher coast, and Rabil is on a higher area. This zone has about four easements, a critical situation for Rabil. We have two zones, A and zone B, which is more sensitive, where there are building constraints dependent on the use of what is to be done,”said the inspector, reaffirming that “the intention is always to ensure the safety of people and goods in the surface”.
