Sal Rei, Dec 30 (Inforpress) – City Hall of Boa Vista delivered 20 certificates to graduates in rural Culinary, given by chef Rodirly Santos, which took place for five days in the town of Fundo das Figueiras, within in the 2nd Edition of the Training Week.
During the certificates delivery, the mayor of Boa Vista, José Luís Santos, said that with this training the participants are “more able and confident” in accessing employment or creating self-employment through access to microcredit and they may even “create some jobs” in the locality.
“This training carried out in the North zone fits in the new City Hall philosophy, which is the decentralization of training for all the villages of the island”, said José Luís Santos, who was available to subsidize transport if there is a considerable number of interested parties in all the villages, for the training that will take place in the city of Sal-Rei.
The trainees “expressed satisfaction” with the training and said they hoped the City Hall would “continue to work” with communities and promote more action in the different areas, reiterating that only together can they “minimize” some problems in the different areas of the communities. The culinary training is part of the 2nd Edition of the Training Week, promoted by the City Hall of Boa Vista, through the Youth and Vocational Training area.
