Artist Nelson Neves has been invited to represent Cabo Verde in an international project

Cidade da Praia, (City of Praia Project) 4 August (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean artist Nelson Neves, who lives in Luxembourg, has been invited to represent Cape Verde in the international art project “Manifiesto Universal”, which was launched in Argentina by the artists Luis Gramet and Estela Lagorio.

The news was announced by the Federation of Cape Verdean Associations in Luxembourg, which noted that the initiative will bring together more than 200 artists from different countries to create a collective work aimed at promoting peace, tolerance and harmony amongst peoples.

For this event, Nelson Neves will present a work entitled “Esperança”, which he completed just a few days ago. Like the works of the other invited artists, his piece will form part of a large collective composition.

 The various canvases will form a single monumental work, with the aim of drawing the international community’s attention to the values of peace, solidarity and coexistence amongst peoples.
