ootball/National Championship: Boavista da Praia and Mindelense Headline Third Round Clash

Praia, May 22 (Inforpress) – The classic match between Boavista da Praia and Mindelense (São Vicente) is the highlight of the third round of the national football championship, scheduled for Saturday, the 23rd, at 4:00 p.m. at Estádio da Várzea.

Both teams lead the competition with six points each after two rounds and maintain a 100 per cent winning record.

Palmeira (Sal), also on six points, will face África Show (Boa Vista) in this third round.

Académico do Sal vs Scorpion, África Show vs Palmeira, Onze Unidos vs Atlético, and Santo Crucifixo vs Cutelinho are the other fixtures scheduled for the third round of the national championship.

In the standings, Mindelense, Palmeira and Boavista da Praia all lead with six points each.
