
Praia, May 15 (Inforpress) – A delegation from the Constitutional Court of São Tomé and Príncipe is in Cabo Verde to gather experience on the Cape Verdean electoral system as part of preparations for upcoming elections.
The information was provided today by the president of the institution following a meeting with the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, during an ongoing study visit focused on the electoral system in Cabo Verde.
The São Toméan delegation includes the president of the Constitutional Court and two counsellor judges, who are in the country to observe the functioning of Cabo Verde’s electoral institutions.
The visit takes place at a time when São Tomé and Príncipe is also preparing for legislative and municipal elections.
