Uni-CV reinforces commitment to training nurses with skills and knowledge

Praia, May 13 (Inforpress) – The vice-rector of the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) stated today that the institution intends to continue training nurses with skills, knowledge and attitude, as it is “an important area” in healthcare.

Vice-rector Helga Carvalho made the remarks to the press on the sidelines of the 11th Academic Nursing Conference, held within the framework of International Nurses Day, celebrated on May 12.

As she emphasised, the event represents a renewal of commitment to students, while also serving as an opportunity for exchanging experiences and presenting the work students develop over the years.

“All of this is aligned with the work that nursing and the University of Cabo Verde are carrying out in relation to health and nursing in particular. Our commitment is to train nurses who possess skills,” stressed Helga Carvalho.
