Praia: Nova Assembleia School celebrates Mother’s Day with traditional games and entrepreneurship fair

Praia, May 08 (Inforpress) – Nova Assembleia School, in Achada Santo António, Praia, is celebrating Mother’s Day today with traditional games and a local products fair, aiming to strengthen family ties and promote interaction within the educational community.

The school director, Samira Moniz, told Inforpress that the main objective of the initiative is to provide “quality time” between mothers and children, creating emotional memories.

“We know that many mothers have a double workload and do not always have time to play with their children. Today we wanted to create this moment of emotional memory and togetherness,” she stated.

The programme, which runs until the end of the day, includes recreational activities and an exhibition of products made by mothers and students, such as jewellery, confectionery and clothing.
