Lisbon, Apr 29 (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean artist Rolando Semedo will perform this Thursday, the 30th, in an intimate concert as part of the project “Kriolo Sounds – Each note, a story” at the Cabo Verde Cultural Centre (CCCV) in Lisbon, Portugal.
According to the organizers, the concert, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time with paid admission, will feature the artist, considered “a reference in Cape Verdean music and beyond”, accompanied by Luís Delgado (percussion), Djodje Almeida (guitar) and Mayo (bass).
Given that the show takes place on the eve of the May 1 holiday, CCCV invites the Cape Verdean community in Lisbon and the general public to end their day in a relaxed way with the warmth of Cape Verdean music.
Rolando Martins Semedo was born in Praia, Cape Verde, and currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal, where he regularly performs at the cultural and gastronomic venue Malandro do Marquês.
