Registrations for early voting by hospitalized patients and prisoners run until the 27th

Mindelo, Apr 15 (Inforpress) – The National Electoral Commission (CNE) announced today that registrations for early voting by hospitalized patients and inmates are open until April 27.

According to the CNE, after registration, these individuals will be entitled to cast their vote between May 4 and 7.

For professional categories, registrations for early voting will take place from May 2 to 5, but voting must be exercised from May 10 to 12.

Under Article 213 of the Electoral Code, early voting is granted to voters who, on election day, are unable to go to the polling station due to unavoidable professional duties.
